The longest part of editing a podcast is watching who talks and switching the camera to them. The Podcast tool in Studio does it in both cases: whether you shot with several cameras or only have one wide shot.
Match each microphone to its camera. Sylba finds the speaker from the audio level and cuts to that camera.
When two people speak at once, the edit goes to the wide shot.
Faces in one wide shot are detected and a separate framing is built for each person.
In single-camera mode the speaker is identified from mouth movement on the face.
When someone moves, the framing follows smoothly. Three options: Fixed, Normal, Follow.
Add a person, drag the frame, set the zoom. Up to 6 people.
9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9.
In the stacked layout 1–3 people go into strips and four people into a 2×2 grid.
Yes. After the analysis the plan is shown as a strip; click a segment to change its camera.
In multi-camera a backup of the sequence is made before applying. In single camera the result is built as a new sequence; your source sequence is not touched.
